Rowlett July 4th Fireworks on Main
This is Rowlett's biggest event of the year, and we need YOU! Volunteers are still needed for set-up, first aid/cooling, fire watch, traffic control, general safety, and tear down. Shifts are 2:30PM – 5:30PM, 5:30PM – 8:30PM and 8:30PM to midnight. Join us for one, two, or all shifts! Sign up here https://www.trackitforward.com/site/629100/event/727423 There will be three great bands, tons of food trucks, fabulous fireworks and more.
For an event timeline, program dress, equipment, parking information, an event map and staging, please visit https://www.trackitforward.com/site/629100/event/727423 But everyone please note that parking will be available at Rowlett HS, DART, and the Chamber of Commerce. Shuttle busses will run from remote parking. Parking at the Rowlett Community Center will be restricted to vendors and those with handicapped tags.
Important Note: We plan to experiment with a new safety tool, ArcGIS QuickCapture. This allows us to track the location of our volunteers, potentially eliminating some of the radio PAR checks. Volunteers, before the event, please download the ArcGIS QuickCapture app from Apple app store or from the Google Play store. There is NO need to set up an account: just get the app on your phone for now. More info to come on July 4th. ---
Help us support the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce's Freedom 5k Run! Volunteers are still needed for parking support, racecourse setup, race monitoring. Report at 6:30AM to the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce, 4418 Main Street, Rowlett, TX 75088 wearing your program shirt and vest. Race concludes at 9AM, and volunteers can expect to be done by 9:30AM.
